The Strangest Thing ...

From: letterboxer2002 (letterboxer2002@yahoo.com) | Date: 2006-01-09 18:20:11 UTC
When my wife and I started letterboxing together, I created an email
address and letterboxing name for her. Today she recieved and odd note
through the LBNA webpage regarding a letterbox in California
called "Sycamore". We live in Milford, CT and have never been to this
area of California. Apparently the person who placed the box logged in
using my wifes name and password and placed a box with her information
as the placer? I don't know ... I logged in with her information and
checked the member services area and this box is not listed as planted
by her. But if you click the name of the placer Amy R. (my wifes
maiden name) you send messages to her email. If someone has a second
check this glitch out ... I would be curious to know what happened. :)

Safe Letterboxing!

Hiya letterboxer2002,

Somehow Amy's account was marked as the "maintainer" of
that letterbox, as if she'd adopted it. I've set the
maintainer back to the same as the owner so that she won't
get any more e-mails from that letterbox.
